Muster Point exists to bridge the gap between military and civilian life by providing veterans with opportunities to build meaningful connections, stay physically active, and develop professionally. Through fitness programs, social events, and career development opportunities, Muster Point creates a community where veterans can find purpose, camaraderie, and support after service.

Muster Point was founded at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln by a Marine Corps veteran who recognized a need for stronger veteran support and connection during the reintegration process. Having experienced the challenges of transition firsthand, he envisioned a rendezvous or "Muster" point where veterans could gather once again to navigate life after military service.
